Meet The Team

Jessica Tilton, Owner and Wedding + Event Planner

I’m originally from Pinehurst, NC and have been a Raleigh resident for the past 16 years – we won’t count the brief stint in Nashville, TN! I’m a wife to Josh and mom to a wild 6-year old boy, Sadler Nash. I’m a proud NC State graduate and love to work with clients who share my alma mater. I started planning weddings and events in 2014 and made the jump to leave my full time job in 2015. Through venue management, food and beverage support and endless full service clients, I credit my knowledge and connections in the industry to experience. I enjoy not only the organizing and time management aspect of planning, but getting to put the finishing touches on a client’s day and bring their ideas to life. I love connecting with the people I work with and giving support and peace during an exciting, but emotionally chaotic time in their lives. When I’m not working, I love going on adventures with my son – the zoo is our favorite, cooking, visiting our family cabin and trying new restaurants and cocktails!

Erika Bath, Wedding + Event Planner

I am originally from New Jersey where I first started planning weddings and then moved to North Carolina in 2020 to become part of an amazing team! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing and a Masters Degree in Counseling, which I believe that both of these degrees give me an advantage in my field of work. I love being a helpful resource and guide to implementing the most special day of our clients lives. When I am not working, I love to travel the world and spend time with my fiancé and our two sweet puppies!

Nicole Mayakis, Wedding + Event Planner

I am from Raleigh and love living in North Carolina. What is better than living in a state that offers mountains, lakes, and beaches? I have known since I was a teenager that I wanted to be an event planner. I graduated from East Carolina University with my degree in Hospitality Management and Concentration in Special Event Planning. I am very passionate about creating a unique experience for all my clients, by finding ways to portray what matters most to you on your special day. My favorite part of being an event planner is getting the opportunity to meet new people almost every day. I love learning about how my clients met or how they want to showcase their relationship through their wedding. Each client’s wedding vision is different and I enjoy being challenged with new ideas for each couple and witnessing their ceremony and reception dreams come to life during their wedding day. I come from a big animal loving family! My parents live on a farm in Wake Forest where we have five horses and a mini donkey. I secretly love when couples include their pets into their wedding day, whether that is on a bar sign or having them walk down the aisle!

Steph Smith, Wedding + Event Planner

I was born in Saudi Arabia and grew up there until my family moved to St. Croix, in the US Virgin Islands, when I was eleven. I made my way up to North Carolina for college and shortly after graduating, met my husband, with whom I now share two little (and wild!) boys! I got my start in event coordination after falling in love with planning my own wedding and realizing I had a knack for it! That ‘knack’ is likely driven by my love for all things organized and neatly planned! That, and my degree in Theatrical Design and Production with a focus on Stage Management, which I have always felt prepared me in so many surprising ways for the career that I have today. Producing theatre and coordinating weddings are remarkably akin to one another! My absolute favorite part of what I do is the feeling I get at the end of the night when I chat with my couple just before send off — knowing that their day was a beautiful success and that they were able to truly enjoy it unencumbered by stress of wondering things like “how will this go?”, “is that ready?”, “what happens now?”. I love knowing that I was able to give them the gift of simply enjoying themselves! My marriage is the greatest part of my life, and that is what I hope will be the case for all the brides and grooms that I work with — so helping my clients to start that great adventure off with a perfect wedding day is incredibly rewarding. On the weekends (whenever I’m not coordinating weddings) you’re likely to find me up in the mountains, hiking with my husband and our kiddos!
